On October 31, VERTIGO is thrilled to play live at Jockel Biergarten as part of the annual Castanyada, organized by Colla Castellera de Berlín e.V. (Castellers of Berlin). Joining us on stage are La Sangre and Xaloc. We will be playing at around 8 pm.
Who are the Castellers of Berlin?
They’re a group of very different people who come together to practice the Catalan tradition of Castells (human towers).
What is a Castanyada?
The Castanyada is another Catalan tradition where people get together in autumn and eat chestnuts. For the Castellers of Berlin, it has become their main fundraising party of the year, with live music, DJs, drinks and, of course, lots of roasted chestnuts.
The program
From 2 pm until 2 am, there is a full program for all ages: family activities in the afternoon, followed by live music and DJs into the night.
